Presentation.

Live experience is a unique moment in time that you can not relive.  Artists can increase music sales and gain fans all through this experience.  By creating a tour theme and being theatrical artists can bring there songs to life, to create an unforgettable experience for their fans.  An artist who I feel is maximising her live performances is pink.  During pinks performance at the isle of weight festival last year  she started by dropping out of a box held above the audience by a crane , later crowd surfing in a giant inflatable ball and performing whilst suspended upside down across the crowd. 

Also during Pinks Grammy performance last year she managed to propel her album sales just through her live performance.  After Pink performed a trapeze act while singing at the Grammy’s her album sales increased as well as digital downloads.  By creating these theatrical performances it is engaging for the audience and will draw fans back again because there is a desire to see what else she will do during her live set.
